The FIFA Technical Study Group will prepare a final report on the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia by September, according to its Chief Technical Development Officer Marco van Basten.
"We have seen all the matches at different stadiums and also on television," said the Netherlands legend.
"With all the experts we're talking a lot about football, the new systems or new situations in the game. We still have a lot of talks in between us, but we are preparing a final report which we will present in September."
This year's tournament will come to an end at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Monday morning AEST, with France facing Croatia in the final.
