FIFA's Disciplinary Committee has warned the English Football Association (FA) after political chants from their supporters were believed to have been heard during the World Cup semi-final between England and Croatia, FIFA's press service said on Saturday.
The Three Lions lost 2-1 to Croatia in extra time at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday.
FIFA opened disciplinary proceedings against the FA on Thursday in order to investigate if the England fans's chants had any discriminatory nature.
According to the BBC, FIFA "considered all factors", including the incident being "triggered by a very small group of fans."
England will face Belgium in the third-place play-off in St. Petersburg on Saturday.
