Football pictures, posters and photos by Russian artists and Brazilian photographer Caio Vilela will be exhibited at the Mordovian Republican Museum of Fine Arts in Saransk during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the museum said Tuesday.
The exhibition "ART-Sport 2018," featuring works by famous Russian artists of the 20th century, and an international exhibition of posters "FOOTB-ALL MIX" will open at the museum on June 6.
"On June 7 an exhibition titled "Football! Football!" by Brazilian photographer and journalist Caio Vilela, dealing with the world-wide passion for football, will open at the Mordovian Museum of Fine Arts," the museum's press service said.
Russia will host its first-ever FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the games set to be held in 11 cities across the country.
Saransk's 45,000-seater Mordovia Arena is set to host four group stage matches, including a game between reigning European champions Portugal and Iran on June 25.
