Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said Friday that foreign visitors had praised the level of security provided at the 2018 World Cup.
"I think that the most objective assessment was given by our foreign guests who have noted the high level of security [at the World Cup]," Kolokoltsev told journalists.
He also said that police officers from the countries taking part in the World Cup were helping their Russian colleagues, as the International Center for Police Cooperation was opened in the town of Domodedovo, just outside Moscow, ahead of the tournament.
