France head coach Didier Deschamps said the national team’s condition was “satisfactory” two weeks before the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
“We have to keep the team’s enthusiasm and ambition up," Deschamps told journalists.
"We don’t do everything perfectly yet, but for the moment it is satisfactory."
France defeated Italy 3-1 in a friendly in Nice on Friday.
“We allowed Italy more scoring opportunities in the second half, but we also have this ability to go on rapid counters and create many chances going forward,” Deschamps said.
He added that the players thought it “correctly” in the pre-World Cup friendlies and were now waiting for the last part of the preparation for the tournament.
Russia will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the games set to be held in 11 cities across the country.
France will face Australia, Peru and Denmark in Group C.
Les Bleus meet the Socceroos first-up in Kazan on Saturday 16 June.
