Outgoing World Cup champions Germany lost 2-0 to South Korea in Kazan and finished this summer's tournament bottom of the group.

"This is a crisis, though it's minor so far. Of course, we haven't expected this. I wouldn't say that we dominated before, we won just one World Cup [in 2014]. We wanted to repeat our success, but didn't show our level," Hummels said.
