Denmark head coach Age Hareide praised goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel for his performance against Peru on Saturday.
Denmark edged out Peru 1-0 in teams' first World Cup match in Russia's Saransk with the help of a series of Schmeichel's saves.
"...It's very important to have a good goalkeeper such as [Kasper] Schmeichel. He is very fast. He's one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He withstood great pressure. He played very well today, as did all the defense," Hareide told journalists.
Denmark and Peru will play their next matches against Australia and France respectively both on Thursday.
