INNSBRUCK, May 29 (Sputnik) - Russia head coach Stanislav Cherchesov said on Tuesday that all of the footballers in his preliminary FIFA World Cup squad, were feeling well, including those who have recently been out due to minor injuries.
"Artem Dzyuba has already started training with us. He is getting into shape... We also have to mention Alan Dzagoev. They were out together and returned together. Aleksandr Yerokhin has missed a few days of training but is back to the squad. The footballers are feeling well, they areĀ on the right way. We need to keep up the good shape ahead of the World Cup," Cherchesov said.
Russia are currently preparing for the World Cup in Austria and will face the Austrian national football team in a friendly in Innsbruck on Wednesday.
Russia will host its first World Cup from June 14 to July 15. The fixtures will be played at 12 stadiums across 11 cities.
The host nation will face Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A at the tournament.
