Head of the Polish Football Association Zbigniew Boniek has hailed the 2018 World Cup as "fantastic."
"I've been to many World Cups, but I haven't seen such organisation, amiable attitude, hospitality, care and warmth. Thank you very much, Russia, this is an amazing tournament with an amazing atmosphere," said theĀ former footballer and manager on his Twitter account.
Poland lost their chance to reach the knockout stage after they were defeated in their first two games. The side will face Group H leaders Japan in their final group-stage match at the Volgograd Arena on Thursday.
