The World Cup between Iceland and Croatia, which took place at the Rostov Arena, was played in front of a sell-out crowd of 43,472 supporters, FIFA said on the official website.
Croatia beat Iceland 2-1 in their final Group D match.
The first sold out match at Rostov Arena took place on 23 June between South Korea and Mexico.
The stadium will host one more round of 16 match on 2 July.
