MOSCOW, June 1 (Sputnik) - Spanish club Real Betis has signed Japan midfielder Takashi Inui for the next three seasons, the club said in a statement on Friday.
βReal Betis... has signed Takashi Inui, from SD Eibar. The Japanese international has signed a deal until 2021 with the Green and White Club,β the club said in a statement published on their official website.
Inui had played for a host of Japanese clubs before moving to Europe in 2011, where he played for German sides Bochum and Eintracht Frankfurt before joining Eibar in 2015.
The 29-year-old has scored two goals in 25 games for Japan since making his international debut in 2009 and was named in the country's preliminary squad for this summer's FIFA World Cup.
Japan will play Colombia, Senegal and Poland in Group H at the tournament to be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15.
