England captain Harry Kane was named the man of the match after his team's 2-1 win over Tunisia in their first game of the 2018 World Cup on Monday, FIFA said on their official website.
The Group G encounter was held in Volgograd and ended in a 2-1 victory to England. Kane bagged a brace, scoring the opener in the 11th minute and popping up with a close range header in stoppage time.
Earlier on Monday, Belgium thrashed Panama 3-0 in another Group G game.
