Serbia captain Aleksandar Kolarov said that he was happy with the way the team played in their 1-0 World Cup victory against Costa Rica in Samara on Sunday.
The defender scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minute with an exquisite free-kick.
"Of course, it [the goal] was in the back of my mind, but first of all I wanted us to play as a team, to leave our everything on the pitch. And this is how the match progressed - we could demonstrate what we know. Our coach prepared the game well, he knew that set pieces are our forte," the captain told journalists.
Serbia will next face Switzerland on Friday and Brazil on 27 June 27.
