French President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed that he would meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday.
On Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov sad that Putin planned to meet his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, who is expected to travel to Russia for the World Cup final.
"I will meet with President Putin in Moscow. I had the opportunity to talk with him two days ago, and I met him a few weeks ago in St. Petersburg," Macron a press conference as aired by the president's official Periscope.
