Senegal striker Sadio Mane was named the man of the match in the FIFA World Cup Group H game against Japan, FIFA said via the tournament's official Twitter account on Sunday.
Japan drew 2-2 with Senegal at the Yekaterinburg Arena, with Mane giving his side the lead 11 minutes into the game.
Senegal and Japan both won their opening matches at the World Cup 2-1 and are currently top of Group H with four points.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
