Forward Kylian Mbappe was named the man of the match after scoring his side's only goal in their 1-0 defeat over Peru at the Yekaterinburg Arena on Thursday.
Mbappe chipped the ball into an empty net from close range in the 34th minute after Olivier Giroud's strike was saved by Peru goalkeeper Pedro Gallese. In doing so, he became the youngest French goalscorer at a World Cup at 19 years and 183 days of age.
France, who lead Group C with six points after their second win at this summer's tournament, will face Denmark at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Tuesday.
