France forward Kylian Mbappe said he was still "in the beginning" of his "journey” despite winning the 2018 FIFA World Cup and becoming only the second teenager in history to score in the final.
The 19-year-old won the FIFA Young Player award as his side beat Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium to lift their second World Cup trophy.
"Scoring in the final match is something special, this is what you work for, but I'm going to move beyond," Mbappe said.
"I should work much in order to improve. When you win the World Cup, you reach a new level in terms of everything, including motivation. I'm still in the beginning of my journey."

He said that France's confidence was a reason for their success.
"I believe that all else being equal, the one who's more confident wins. We had airtight confidence, and we lived up to the expectations," he added.
Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and came to a close on Monday with 64 games played in 11 cities across the country.
