The classiest side in the competition put forth a scintillating display, with Sydney FC hitting all the right notes against a lacklustre Melbourne City.
Sydney FC
Andrew Redmayne — 8.5
Impressively continued to prevent conceding from open play in nine hours. His tenth clean sheet of the season was aided by the defence in front of him and his own determination in the game’s final minutes.
Luke Wilkshire — 7.5
Warranted his early yellow, but was resolute in the defensive half.

Jordy Bujis — 7
Moved the ball elegantly and maintained a solid partnership with Wilkinson throughout.
Alex Wilkinson — 8
Composure and experience was in abundance in Wilkinson’s defensive play, demonstrated no better than when one on one with Arzani he did everything to force the City prospect not to shoot.
Michael Zullo — 9
His first assist (of three) came from tireless work in the build up to Ninkovic’s goal, intercepting a pass meant for Arzani and pushing forward to assist the Serbian maestro. Truly staking a claim for a left back spot in the Socceroos squad.
