The 25-year-old suffered the injury while helping his club, FC Porto, beat Feirense 2-1 in the penultimate match of the Portuguese Premier League season last month.
According to the US football channel ESPN, midfielder Erick Gutierrez will replace Reyes during the tournament. The 22-year-old has been capped for Mexico nine times since making international debut in 2016.
