Mexico striker Raul Jimenez said on Tuesday that his team should be prepared for South Korea's potency on the counter attack ahead of their Group F game on Saturday.
On Sunday, Mexico shocked reigning champions Germany 1-0 in the team's first match at the tournament.
"We've seen South Korea's matches. They are a quick opponent, they play well tactically and we should be ready for their counterattacks. From the very beginning, our goal was to lead our group. If you want to become World Cup champions, you need to beat those in front of you. We have to show our best in each game," Jimenez told journalists.
South Korea lost 1-0 their first game of the tournament to Sweden, who top Group F on three points alongside Mexico.
