Argentina midfielder Ever Banega missed his team's open training session at the their base camp in the town of Bronnitsy, outside Moscow, just a few days before the FIFA World Cup kicks off in Russia, a Sputnik correspondent reported on Monday.
A total of 22 players took part in the training except for Banega, who had sustained a minor injury before the team arrived in Russia on Saturday.
The FIFA World Cup will take place across 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15. Two-time World Cup winners Argentina will play Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria in Group D.
