Russia were held to a draw by Turkey in their last warm-up game ahead of the FIFA World Cup, less than a week after losing to Austria 1-0. The team had a day off on Wednesday.

A total of 22 players started training together earlier on Thursday, except for Zhirkov, who was training individually in a gym due to a minor foot injury.

Russia will host its first FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15. The fixtures will be played at 12 stadiums across 11 cities, with the host nation facing Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
