Russia will face Egypt in St. Petersburg on Tuesday in their Group A game. Russia thrashed Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday, while Egypt lost to Uruguay 1-0 a day later.

"[Egypt's] match against Uruguay was very difficult... They can play well in defense. They [Egypt] are similar to Saudi Arabia, but are more organized and disciplined. Matches with Salah and without him differ a lot, of course. But there are 11 footballers on the field, not one," the 22-year-old midfielder said.

Russia's first-ever World Cup kicked off on Thursday and will continue until 15 July, with the matches set to be held in 11 Russian cities.
