"A total of 52,000 people left [the stadium] by metro and MCC, while 4,500 [people] used free shuttle buses S1 to the Park Kultury metro station, and the accredited taxis drove 1,340 passengers," the press service said in a statement.

Head of Moscow's Department for Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Maksim Liksutov said as quoted by the press service that the Moscow public transport system was coping well with transporting fans after the World Cup matches at the Luzhniki and Spartak Stadiums.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches set to be played in 11 cities across Russia.
