The Moscow Metro earlier said it will hold a total of 72 excursions from June 10 to July 15, both in Russian and English.

"The Moscow Metro opened ticket sales for the tours around the Metro for foreign guests. They will take place from June 10 to July 15. Tickets can be purchased now on the Moscow Museum's website mosburo.com," the press service said in a statement.

According to the statement, the visitors will learn about the modern metro stations, the recently-inaugurated Moscow Central Circle line and will be shown the historic stations, some of which were opened back in the 1930s.

Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums in 11 cities across the country - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Saransk, Kazan, Volgograd, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
