MOSCOW, June 5 (Sputnik) - A press conference on providing security during this summer's FIFA World Cup in Russia will be held at Moscow's City Press Center on Wednesday.
During the conference, First Deputy Head of the Russian Interior Ministry's Department of Mass Sports Events Anton Gusev, director of the Department for Implementation of Strategic Projects of the Russian Communications Ministry Andrey Chernenko, and head of the Center of Operational Command of Security and Order Provision FIFA 2018 World Cup Alexei Lavrishchev will speak about the measures undertaken to provide safety during the upcoming tournament.
The press conference will begin at 11:00 a.m. local time (08:00 GMT). Journalists will need to be accredited by the press center in order to attend the conference.
