All four football teams, which are set to play in the FIFA World Cup semi-finals are NATO member states, and the alliance wishes them good luck, NATO said on Sunday.
"The remaining 4 @FifaWorldCup squads are from #NATO countries. Good luck to all the teams!" NATO said on Twitter.
Russian team was eliminated from the tournament, as Croatia beat it on penalties in Sochi on Saturday to advance to the World Cup semi-finals, where they will face England at Moscow’s Luzhinki Stadium on Wednesday. The match finished 2-2 after extra time.
The semi-final match between Belgium and France will take place on Tuesday in St. Petersburg.
