"We had a very warm welcome from the people in Yessentuki, and we would like to stay there a long, long time," Rohr said.

When asked whether Saturday's match against Croatia is a challenge Rohr said that the main challenge for them is to reach the knockout stage.

"The challenge for us is to qualify from the group, this is the challenge. It's always exciting to play for the first time against a country, of course. We are not the group favorites. I think Croatia are the favorites of this game... they are much higher than us in the FIFA ranking, as are the other two teams. That would mean on paper we would finish last in the group. That is why we stay modest, but we are ambitious and we want to qualify from the group, which means that we have to get a result tomorrow," Rohr told reporters.

Nigeria will face two-time World Cup winners Argentina, Croatia and Iceland in Group D. They will start their 2018 World Cup campaign with the match against Croatia in Kaliningrad on Saturday.
