Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa could possibly start in the upcoming game against Iceland, Nigeria’s head coach Gernot Rohr said on Saturday.
Nigeria lost to Croatia 2-0 in Kaliningrad, with Musa coming on as a substitute in the 62nd minute.
“He has a chance to start the next game [against Iceland], we will see,” Rohr said, adding that he was not satisfied with the team going forward.
Rohr said Nigeria had to put the loss behind them and concentrate on their upcoming match against Iceland.
“Everything is still possible. If we win the next game, all is possible in order to qualify,” the head coach stressed.
The game with Iceland is set to take place on Friday in Volgograd.
