Nine people were detained for various violations at Moscow's Spartak Stadium and the surrounding area during the World Cup match between Serbia and Brazil this morning.
Five-time World Cup winners Brazil beat Serbia 2-0 in their final Group E match to qualify for the round of 16 with over 44,000 fans watching from the stands.
"A total of nine people were detained and held liable for various violations at the stadium and the surrounding area, four of them were penalised for disorderly conduct," said a source from the city's law enforcement agency.
He added that three of those were detained for illegally selling tickets, smoking in the prohibited area and violating personal data regulations.
