"The matches will be broadcast at a specially organized venue for mass viewing, on Mikhailovskaya embankment in the regional center," the press service said adding that the regional government had worked hard to obtain the license.

Novosibirsk is Russia's third largest city, situated in Siberia, around 1,750 miles east of Moscow.

According to the press service, all three group stage matches, where the Russian team will play, are set to be broadcast.

The hosts will face Saudi Arabia in Moscow on June 14 before playing Egypt in St. Petersburg on June 19 and taking on Uruguay in Samara on June 25 in their Group A matches.

Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup will take place from June 14 to July 15 in 11 host cities, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, and Sochi.
