“Over 20,000 foreign fans are expected at the World Cup semi-final match at the St. Petersburg Stadium, with the overall number of spectators to be over 64,000 people,” said a city official.

Over 320,000 people attended the five matches that have been held in St. Petersburg since the beginning of the World Cup, with the average attendance of 64,000 spectators per match.

The arena will host two more World Cup games, including Wednesday morning's semi-final and the third-place match on Sunday morning.

Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup will come to an end on Monday, with the final set to be held at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
