A total of 41,685 fans attended the World Cup match between Iran and Portugal in Saransk on Monday.
Portugal was held to 1-1 draw by Iran in their last Group B match and qualified to the World Cup Round of 16 from the second place.
The match took place at the Mordovia Arena which earlier hosted Colombia-Japan encounter and match between Peru and Denmark which was attended by 40,842 and 40,502 spectators respectively.
