MOSCOW, May 30 (Sputnik) - Over 800 Moscow Metro employees have completed their English-language training as part of preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Deputy Head of Moscow's Transport Department Dmitry Pronin said Wednesday.
"Over 800 English-speaking Moscow Metro employees will be working during the World Cup. They will be on duty at the stations on match days," Pronin told journalists.
According to the official, 400 English-speaking cashiers will work during the tournament, primarily at the Moscow Metro's Koltsevaya line (Line 5) stations and at the stations located close to the Luzhniki and Spartak stadiums, which will host a total of 12 World Cup matches.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
