More than 80,000 football fans visited Moscow's FIFA Fan Fest during Tuesday's match between Russia and Egypt, the city's Security Department Head Vladimir Chernikov says.
"The fan zone was full as more than 80,000 people visited it yesterday. Thanks to the coordinated work of all the services, everything ended well," Chernikov said.
Russia beat Egypt 3-1 in St. Petersburg on Tuesday night to all but book a berth in the Round of 16, something the national team had failed to do in their previous three World Cup outings.
Stanislav Cherchesov's men will next play Uruguay in Samara on June 25 in their final Group A game.
