More than five million tourists have visited the Russian cities hosting the matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, say Russia's Federal Tourism Agency.
"The most visited city was Moscow, with over 2.7 million tourists," they said.
They added that more than 600,000 tourists have visited St. Petersburg and over 500,000 people traveled to Sochi.
The average increase in the number of tourists was 74%, with the largest increase of 1,678 percent recorded in Saransk.
