The game will kick off at the St. Petersburg Stadium on Wednesday morning at 4:00am AEST.

"Good morning in St. Petersburg. I'm glad to be here to support France at the World Cup. My love that moved mountains made me (come) here. I feel like a little girl," Anderson wrote on her official Instagram page in Russian.

The 51-year-old star of the US action drama series Baywatch has been dating France defender Adil Rami since 2017.

The France v Belgium match will also be attended by French president Emmanuel Macron and Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders, as well as Belgium's King Philippe and Queen Mathilde.

Anderson has repeatedly visited Russia since she became the guardian of a female Amur leopard named Pamela in 2015.

The same year, she took part in the Eastern Economic Forum in Russia's Pacific port city of Vladivostok where she discussed preservation of Amur tigers and Amur leopards with then Russian Environment Minister Sergey Donskoy.
