Adelaide United proved far too overwhelming for a Perth Glory side that repeated the defensive frailties which have typified their season.
Perth Glory
Liam Reddy 6 –
Played an important role with his many saves, preventing the scoreline from being significantly higher.
Scott Neville 6 –
Seemed to be the only member of the Glory backline that showed any focus defensively at times. Delivered a fantastic lofted cross for Keogh to open the scoring.
Dino Djulbic 4 –
At the centre of a controversial (and unconventional) back heel in the first half which arguably should have resulted in a penalty for Adelaide. Djulbic struggled to handle Blackwood, resulting in his own goal. Appeared slow and unnecessarily kept Mileusnic onside for his goal.
Shane Lowry 5 –
Seemed to have words with Djulbic prior to kick off, which may have set the tone for their poor partnership throughout the ninety.
Marc Warren 4 –
Found difficulty in handling Mileusnic, opting to sit further back on occasions when Perth required outlets. Challenged poorly and was deservedly substituted.
