Portugal will face Uruguay in the round of 16 World Cup match in Sochi on Sunday (4am AEST).

"They (Uruguay) have not conceded a goal in their last three matches," Santos said.

"It is difficult to find their soft spots. But there are areas, which we can exploit nonetheless and we will find them. I think that we will win, although Uruguay are very strong opponent."

Uruguay won all their three group-stage matches and have yet to concede a goal at the World Cup.
