Portugal head coach Fernando Santos said on Friday that it was difficult to find Uruguay's weak spots but he believed he could find areas which Portugal could exploit.
Portugal will face Uruguay in the round of 16 World Cup match in Sochi on Sunday (4am AEST).
"They (Uruguay) have not conceded a goal in their last three matches," Santos said.
"It is difficult to find their soft spots. But there are areas, which we can exploit nonetheless and we will find them. I think that we will win, although Uruguay are very strong opponent."
Uruguay won all their three group-stage matches and have yet to concede a goal at the World Cup.
