The World Cup Group B match between Portugal and Morocco, which took place at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium, was played in front of a sell-out crowd of 78,011 supporters, FIFA said via the tournament's official Twitter feed on Wednesday.
"Sell-out crowd at Luzhniki again," FIFA said.
The match ended in a narrow 1-0 victory to reigning European champions Portugal after their captain Cristiano Ronaldo scored the winner with a diving header just four minutes into the game and became Europe's all-time top international scorer with 85 goals to his name.
Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter and the federation's current head Gianni Infantino attended the match.
