Denmark forward Yussuf Poulsen was named the Man of the Match after scoring the only goal, which gave Denmark a hard-fought 1-0 win over Peru in Russia's Saransk on Saturday.
Denmark and Peru will play their next matches against Australia and France respectively both on Thursday.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Thursday and will continue until 15 July, with the matches set to be played in 11 cities across Russia.
