A quarter of questions addressed to the 2018 FIFA World Cup information center of the Russian consumer rights watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, are related to excursions and other tourist services and products, Rospotrebnadzor said Wednesday.
“Experts say that the most frequent questions directed to the united consulting center are related to tourist products. Such requests make approximately 24% of the total number of calls. Fans and the World Cup visitors are interested in city tours, security, conditions and places to purchase these services,” Rospotrebnadzor said in a message published on its official website.
Questions on hotel room prices, goods with the World Cup symbols, transport services and availability of official carriers in the World Cup hosting cities are also popular, according to the watchdog.
The center works round the clock.
Russia will host its first-ever FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the matches set to be held at 12 arenas in 11 cities across the country.
