Morocco head coach Herve Renard said on Wednesday that his team "were proud of themselves" despite losing any chance of reaching the round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup.
Morocco were eliminated from the tournament after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Portugal earlier on Wednesday.
"We dared to play attacking football against a team that is good at counterattacking. We took a risk. But we felt like we were playing in Casablanca. The players felt it. They've come such a [long] way to Moscow, and I'm sure that they are proud of themselves. They should be proud of themselves," Renard told journalists.
Morocco became the first country to be knocked out of the World Cup, after losing their opening two matches.
