Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo won the man of the match award as his hat-trick helped Portugal to a 3-3 draw against Spain in a pulsating encounter in Sochi on Friday.
The 33-Year-old opened the scoring in the fourth minute from the penalty spot and netted his second just before half time.
Ronaldo saved his best till last as he curled a sublime free kick past Spain goalkeeper David De Gea in the 88th minute.
Portugal’s captain is now the leading scorer at this World Cup with three goals, ahead of Russia’s Denis Cheryshev and Spain’s Diego Costa who have both scored twice.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Thursday and will continue until 15 July, with a total of 64 matches set to be played at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities.
