“By June 10 the World Cup Fan Fest will be completely ready,” Golubev said.

Earlier on Wednesday, the governor inspected the city's central Teatralnaya Square, where the fan zone will be located.

Golubev said that the visitors would feel comfortable in the fan zone thanks to additional recreation areas and three parks located nearby.

The World Cup matches will be broadcast on a 1,500 square feet screen installed in the fan zone.

Russia’s first-ever FIFA World Cup will be held in 11 cities from June 14 to July 15. Rostov-on-Don will host four group-stage games and one round of 16 match.
