All 23 players of the Russian national football team trained together in what was their last training session at their FIFA World Cup base camp in the town of Novogorsk, outside Moscow, ahead of the tournament, a Sputnik correspondent reported Tuesday.
Head coach Stanislav Cherchesov will put his charges through their paces at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday, a day before they will play Saudi Arabia in the World Cup opening match.
The host nation will also face Egypt and Uruguay in their other two Group A games.
Russia will host its first-ever FIFA World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the matches set to be held at 12 arenas in 11 cities across the country.
