Russia midfielder Yuri Gazinsky, who scored the first goal of the 2018 World Cup, says he's kept the match ball as a souvenir.
"It's in my hotel room. The guys signed it and I'll keep it as a souvenir, said the Krasnodar star.
"I don't score often but when I do and the team shows a good result, you have to forget the game as soon as possible and prepare for the next one. A most important match against Egypt is ahead of us and it will be way more difficult," he added.
Russia will take on Egypt in St. Petersburg on Tuesday.
The hosts are currently top of their Group A after defeating Saudi Arabia 5-0, while Egypt lost their first game to Uruguay 1-0 and sit third.
