Russian President Vladimir Putin told US National Security Adviser John Bolton that Moscow was ready to share its expertise with the United States in hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
On June 13, the FIFA congress chose the United States, Mexico and Canada as the hosting countries of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
"I would like to congratulate you on the fact that the United States got a right on hosting the world cup in 2026. As of now we have managed to organise this event in a proper manner. It will be a pleasure for us to share this experience with you," Putin said.
