Russia goalkeeper Andrey Lunev said there was room for improvement but his team should not be judged just by their result.
He was speaking after Russia were held to a 1-1 draw by Turkey earlier on Tuesday in their final warm-up game before the start of the World Cup.
"We are getting ready for the World Cup as a team. Unfortunately our warm-up games have not been very successful, but you should not judge us just on our results,” Lunev said.
Russia will host its first-ever World Cup from June 14 to July 15, with the hosts set to face Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
