INNSBRUCK, May 29 (Sputnik) - Russia held a full squad training session in Innsbruck Tuesday as the national team continued their preparations for Wednesday' friendly match against Austria and the FIFA World Cup to be held in Russia this summer.
The squad was rejoined by midfielder Aleksandr Yerokhin, who had trained individually for two days following a minor foot injury, making it only a third training session featuring all the 28 players called up to the squad by head coach Stanislav Cherchesov since their arrival in Austria on May 20.
Russia will play Austria in Innsbruck on Wednesday and Turkey in Moscow on June 5 in their last two warm-up games before the World Cup.
Russia will host the FIFA World Cup for the first time from June 14 to July 15 at 12 arenas in 11 cities. The hosts are set to play Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
